Founders Atelier opens launchpad to support idea-stage emerging tech startups

9 June 2022 — Founders Atelier, a global platform that nurtures idea-stage founders in emerging technologies, officially opens its doors to founders, partners, and investors looking to disrupt and be at heart of innovation.

Founders Atelier is led by a strong team and experienced partners in the space. The founding group is made up of seasoned entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors, who invested in and supported thousands of startups during their careers. They led the creation of multiple startup ecosystems around the world (including North America, Europe, and MENA) and have enabled startups on their journey from idea stage and until exit.

Headquartered in London with global outposts in more than 15 locations already, Founders Atelier will launch programs focused on emerging technologies starting with Web3, Future of Work, and Climate Tech targeting global markets with a focus on EU, US, UK and MENA.

As the next iteration of technology unfolds, entrepreneurs will open up a ton of promising developments and opportunities across various industries. The community of founders who will define the development of these emerging technologies need a new kind of support. And Founders Atelier aims to provide just that.

“Today, investors are more interested in idea stage startups than ever before. We have been approached by many who want to invest in startups that will mature in 8-10 years. We cannot agree more as this asset class will shield investors from the short term market dynamics and since we know that founders who start and thrive in this period will definitely be winners on the long run”, says Sami Abou Saab, Cofounder and Managing Partner of Founders Atelier.

By combining its network and global resources with the expertise and funding of the right partners, Founders Atelier’s Launchpad will support early-stage founders from ideation to fundraising. One of the opportunities for the Launchpad’s alumni is the unique access to the Berkeley Skydeck accelerator that provides a soft landing in Silicon Valley and access to the university’s faculty and relevant innovation and technology divisions.

“Our program is tailored for idea stage startups and prepares them for the next stage in a customised approach. Whether they are looking for market validation, future funding, or a soft landing in a new geography, founders will receive support and mentorship from across the Founders Atelier network”, added Scott Ford, Cofounder and Partner at Founders Atelier.

Founders Atelier calls for all interested anchor partners and investors to join their journey in helping maximise the growth of emerging technologies startups through its Launchpad programs and investment fund.
